We are on the hunt for the best Tasmanian Small Producer, as part of our Sprout Small Producer Award, nominated by YOU!
Nominations are now open, so if you know a small producer who is really 'growing good' both on their farm and in their community, then nominate them below! We want to hear about someone you know who gets up in the early hours of dawn, does incredible things on their property, always gives 110% and really cares about what they do, and you think deserves some recognition for their effort and passion! We see so many inspiring people on our travels with Sprout, but we know there are many more in your local community that we haven't had the privilege to meet or know, so nominate them!
How do I nominate someone?
Simply complete the following details in the nomination box below:
- Nominee full name/s (you can nominate a family)
- Nominee farm name (if applicable)
- Nominee Suburb
- Nominee Email and/or phone
- You can add why you think they should be our 2018 Sprout Small Producer of the Year winner, although this is not taken into consideration at all, it's just nice for us to pass on to the farmer should they be successful.
The farm or farmer with the largest number of community nominations will win the award, with the announcement being made at the Cross Pollinate Conference, with our 2017 award recipient Phil and Selina from Long Name Farm presenting the award.
Thanks to Blundstone Australia, the winner of 2018 will receive two vouchers to purchase some brand spanking new farm boots, up to the value of $250 each! Thanks Blundstone, for supporting our farming community!
Nominations close on Thursday 4th October at 3pm.
